How to upload a file on Dropcontact?
🏷️ Step 1 — Make sure you have the necessary input data
Before uploading your file, check that it contains the right information for enrichment.
You’ll need at least the contact’s first name, last name, and company name.

🏷️ Step 2 — Check your column headers
Dropcontact automatically detects the column headers in your file and selects the best information to enrich.
💡 Tip: Make sure all your column headers are clearly named so Dropcontact can easily recognize them.
The most important columns are:
- Full name (or first and last name separately)
- Company name (or website, domain, LinkedIn URL)
If Dropcontact can’t identify the necessary data, you’ll see an error message explaining what’s missing.
If the message doesn’t match your file, contact us at support@dropcontact.io — we’ll check it for you.
📤 Step 3 — Upload your file
Simply drag and drop your CSV or XLS (Excel) file into the Dropcontact app — it’s that easy!
⚙️ Step 3 — Check the credits and launch the process
Once the file is uploaded, Dropcontact shows you:
- The number of credits required for the enrichment
- The estimated processing time
When everything looks good, just launch the process 🚀
At the end of the enrichment, Dropcontact automatically refunds the credits for any emails not found.
💰 Remember: Dropcontact operates on a Pay on Success model — you only pay for verified results.
✅ Step 4 — Download your enriched file
Your enriched file is available and downloadable from your dashboard, using the green download button.
